Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting geotechnical analysis and study to assess construction site conditions. You will play a crucial role in planning and designing building foundations, earthworks, and other structural elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations to obtain soil and rock samples.
- Perform soil testing to determine strength, compressibility, and other factors that affect the behavior of soil under pressure.
- Design and supervise the construction of foundations, earthworks, and other structural supports.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and provide recommendations on construction materials and techniques.
- Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure project success.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with large-scale construction projects.
