Deep Cement Mixing

Deep Cement Mixing Process

Deep Cement Mixing (DCM) is a revolutionary technique that elevates the properties of weak soils by expertly combining them with a cementitious binder slurry. The Deep Cement Mixing (DCM) process involves a robust drilling mechanism that propels a mixing tool into the soil while simultaneously injecting binder slurry through the connecting drill steel. This thoroughly blends the soil to the desired depth. During the tool’s withdrawal, further mixing of the soil occurs, ensuring homogeneity. The method, known as mass wet soil mixing or mass stabilization, employs a horizontal axis rotary mixing tool mounted on a track hoe arm. Binder slurry is introduced via a feed pipe connected to the arm. This technique constructs individual, secant, or block soil create columns, each engineered for specific strength and stiffness requirements.
