This thoroughly blends the soil to the desired depth. During the tool’s withdrawal, further mixing of the soil occurs, ensuring homogeneity. The method, known as mass wet soil mixing or mass stabilization, employs a horizontal axis rotary mixing tool mounted on a track hoe arm. Binder slurry is introduced via a feed pipe connected to the arm. This technique constructs individual, secant, or block Soilcrete® columns, each engineered for specific strength and stiffness requirements.
