Bored Pile

Bored piles, representing an advanced and highly efficient construction element, find extensive use in diverse foundation and civil engineering projects. The strategic use of both temporary and permanent steel casings serves multiple engineering purposes, enhancing the structural integrity and reliability of these piles.

Process

In the meticulous process of bored pile construction, steel casings are expertly introduced through techniques like rotation, oscillation, or vibration, ensuring precise placement. Specialized tools are employed to delicately remove soil, creating the void for the pile. Additional casing sections are joined and securely installed to the predetermined depth, meticulously prepared for the next phase. A full-length reinforcing steel cage is then carefully lowered into the precisely engineered borehole, fortifying the foundation’s structural integrity. The void is subsequently filled with concrete, solidifying the foundation’s strength. Once the pile is complete, temporary casings, having fulfilled their role, are meticulously extracted from the construction site.
