A diaphragm wall shoring system is a heavy-duty shoring system applicable for the protection of the most sensitive structures with very low tolerance for lateral movement. These structures, therefore, are highly strain controlled bearing heavy stresses and loads from the lateral earth movement. This is only possible with the wall as a reinforced concrete wall for restraint against the lateral pressures. The design of this reinforced wall is based on the tolerance for the lateral movement, the depth of the lateral restraint required and the ground conditions. These structures are getting much visibility these days due to the massive underground ongoing constructions in the region, particularly the Middle East.
